Who I Am

I’m a professional photographer based in Columbus, Ohio, with a passion for capturing moments that tell authentic stories. My journey began in the summer of 2020, when I started exploring photography with just a phone in hand—wandering along beaches, creeks, and neighborhood trails. What started as a personal hobby quickly evolved into something much more.

During high school, I began photographing sporting events and soon landed my first paid gig: photographing a tailgate concert at an Ohio State bar. That opportunity opened the door to more event photography, including small concerts and local events.

When I started college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, I returned to my creative roots—documenting campus life through candid portraits, architecture, and nature. I began taking on freelance projects for local businesses, including menu photography and headshots for members of my business and social fraternities.

My first major opportunity came with MUF&D, the largest student-run fashion show in the country, where I served as an event photographer. That experience led to more work with DJs, student organizations, and graduation shoots—transforming a hobby into a meaningful source of income.

In my junior year, I joined Up&Up Oxford, a college festival promotion company. This role expanded my portfolio significantly, giving me the chance to photograph headliner DJs, rising musical talent, and some of the most exciting parties on campus. By combining event photography with a growing demand for headshots, I built a robust client base and officially launched BZetz Photography—a thriving, self-started photography business rooted in creativity, professionalism, and a love for visual storytelling.
